Rob Blanchard serves as Deputy Majority Leader of Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting and is running for Connecticut’s 28th State Senate District. A husband and father raising a young family in Fairfield, Rob is focused on making Connecticut more affordable by tackling the rising costs of housing, healthcare, and childcare, while supporting strong schools and vibrant local communities. He brings experience from both the public and private sectors and is committed to ensuring families across Bethel, Easton, Fairfield, and Newtown can afford to live, work, and thrive.

Rob lives in Fairfield with his wife, Samantha, their mischievous toddler, Theo, and their two dogs, Winslow and Penelope.
